Well, I had a dream last night, that my fleet consisted of a flat black Subaru turbo Brat with T tops, a VW Squareback, and my Benz E320 wagon. It was a good dream
Problem is, I should actually sell some shit and just do it.
And if you didn't read my headline in MLK's voice, you are doing it wrong

Go for it, they are cheap. I sold my restored Brat last fall after I decided I didn't want it anymore, lol.
Bought it for $400, spent $1600 on restoring will all original parts and mods etc, then sold it for $2000.
The EA-82 (I believe) engine in the turbo is a good one. I think it was around 80 hp or something. You'll have to forgive my wrong info as it has been a while.

Brats are hands down awesome little Subies!

I had no idea the Brat had T-tops. A Brat was already a 10/10 on the want scale. 11/10?

12/10 if it is a turbo. I think 84/85 you can get it with both the t's and a turbo

See now, because of this I went in search of Brats. Found a decent runner in need of some work on eBay, so I put a bid in. I see an EJ20 turbo swap on the horizon...

what model? I love the look of the early one, but the t tops on the later are very attractive

It's a 1992 MV 1800 apparently, but I don't really know anything about them. No T-tops sadly, which is why I've also been eyeing up MR2s!
I'd prefer an earlier Brat, 1985ish was my favourite but they're so hard to come by in the UK :/

Same, I thought they stopped somewhere in the 80's! It's another one for me to consider on my hunt for a project car, so cheers for reminding me they exist
